UNCA came to us to produce their admissions brochure. The project consisted of a 6x10 full-color booklet. The 8-page plus cover piece has a fold-out panel on the outside back cover and is produced on white opaque uncoated cover stock. This booklet was designed to be sent as direct mail outreach to prospective students.
The University of North Carolina Asheville is North Carolina’s designated public liberal arts and sciences university and one of the 17 excellent, diverse, and accessible institutions of the UNC System.
In 2022, BPSG worked with Mars Hill University to produce an eye-catching direct mail piece that highlighted the school mascot. The piece was part of a broader giving campaign and was mailed out to their alumni group. The keepsake was a hugely popular item for their alumni base to enjoy at home or at work.
Mars Hill University is a private, four-year liberal arts institution located in the mountains of western North Carolina. Founded in 1856 by Baptist families of the region, it is the oldest institution of higher learning in western North Carolina on its original site.
In 2022 we had the pleasure of working with Taco Boy to create collateral for the grand opening of their 4 locations in North and South Carolina. They were looking for various menus, business cards, and coasters.
We paid special attention to the timing of the job production to coordinate with the deadlines for each opening. The client had also purchased specialty menu covers which our team worked with to properly select paper that would be easy for their staff to change out as needed.
Smiling Hara came to us to update the packaging for their Hempeh Cartons. They were looking for cartons that could maintain color consistency throughout all their product lines.
It was essential that the paper be able to withstand being frozen or wet so it could be placed in produce sections and in freezers. The die-cut window allows easy viewing of their product in stores.
Our long-term client, Rug and Home came back to us wanting unique hang tags for their merchandise. They were looking for a bold design that helped their products stand out in their showroom.
The result was 5” circular hang tags in three eye-catching color options. Each version of the tag had its own phrase to help educate their customers on current pricing and deals.
In 2022 we worked with Darë Vegan Cheese to create cartons for their cheese wedges. Their previous packaging was plastic wrap topped with a label. By moving to a carton, they could achieve their goals of increasing their shelf visibility while upgrading their branding.
Our long term client, Togwotee Mountain Lodge, came to us to create an updated version of their key card holder. Their goal was to combine their site map with their key card holder to streamline their guest experience.
We worked with them to create a 3-panel brochure version of their key card holder. This design choice achieved their desired result of consolidating two important items into a more user-friendly handout.
Earthy Select came to us to update the packaging for their CBD gummies. They were originally using glass jars, which led to higher shipping prices and breakage and restricted the amount of product that could be sold per unit.
We worked with them to transition their glass jars to pouches. The result was packaging that allowed more flexibility with their gummy product lines and drastically reduced the shipping price—furthermore, moving to pouches eliminated breakage. The pouches were also more user-friendly and were designed with child-resistant zippers for added safety.
In 2011, we approached the American Motorcyclist Association Hall of Fame Museum (AMAHOF) about handling their existing greeting card campaign. That relationship grew to include BPSG handling not only the production and fulfillment of their holiday cards but also the design and marketing of the annual campaign. Over time we also took over the production of their year-end appeal and annual raffle bike mailings. To date, we have printed 175,275 AMA Hall of Fame holiday cards generating over $32,000 in revenue for the museum!
We had the pleasure of working with Red Fiddle Vittles to upgrade their food product packaging. They wanted a butcher paper look that was more professional and incorporated their branding.
Our design team worked with them to transition from generic cartons with labels to custom cartons complete with a dye cut fiddle that matched their logo precisely. The finished product is elegant in its simplicity and has fantastic shelf appeal.
Our long-term client, The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC), came to us to manufacture their annual report for 2022.
It is a 28 page plus cover, full color throughout, saddle-stitched booklet. The annual report highlights the grants provided through CFWNC. Grants are provided in the following areas: assisting people in need, improving educational opportunities, building community and economic vitality, promoting quality health, enhancing the environment, advancing the arts, religion, animal welfare, and scholarships.
Montreat College came to us to create their President’s Report for 2022.
This project consists of a 9x12 full-color booklet. It is 12 pages plus cover with a stitched-in remittance envelope. Our mailing department also handled the mailing services for this project.
The Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians, reached out to us to produce their Fish Cherokee brochure.
This brochure is for anglers who wish to fish within the Qualla Boundary. Information concerning regulations, permits, types of fish and stream information are contained within this piece.
BPSG has had the pleasure of working with Abacus Corvus on the manufacture of their calendars for ten years.
These pieces contain beautiful original artwork and the two-sister team has a loyal following in both their east and west coast locations where their products are sold.
Carolina Day School reached out to us to manufacture their viewbook. We worked closely with their designer to realize her vision for the front cover.
Ultimately, a soft touch aqueous coating overlaid with spot UV were utilized to achieve the desired effect on their bell logo image.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with Hi-Wire Brewing on a variety of print projects. They reached out to us for this piece to create unique keg collars.
Their keg collars are used to identify what type of beer is in each keg and are vital to delivering their brews to restaurants and other distributors.
In 2022, we were approached by Hemptron to develop a point-of-purchase display carton for their CBD pouches.
Our packaging design team worked with Hemptron to create a structure that could hold their pouches upright and be easily converted into a shelf display piece.
